Turnarounds madness! As crazy Xmas approaches, printers struggle more and more to achieve delivery dates – here at printsourceuk we are still offering delivery dates of a week from receiving your artwork, so as long as we get your files by 17th December, you'll have them back before you go home to put the turkey in! What else would you expect from us? Honesty is the best policy! Here at printsourceuk we have been keeping a close eye on our delivery successes. For every job, we set a ‘latest’ delivery date which we put on customer’s emailed order confirmations – out of over 500 jobs since this monitoring started, over 96% were delivered either early or on time. The remaining 4% were either delivered late because of internal quality control checks, or courier delivery failures, and customers were kept informed at every step of the way. We are very happy with this success rate over this initial period, although we would love it to be 100% of course. We are always honest and straight with our customers, and hopefully this news is enlightening in an age of PR spin and commercial smoke and mirrors. ![]() ![]() The end of the roadYou will be delighted to hear that James has completed 2007’s charity runs, finishing with an 11 mile run from printsourceuk offices to FORT’s new offices in St. Mary’s Hospital, Portsmouth, raising over £600 for FORT in the process, and burning off enough calories to enable him to keep up with the eating style he has become so used to. Please click the link below to donate directly to FORT. James’s next batch of runs don’t start til March/April 2008, so look forward to his aching and moaning in about 4 month’s time! ![]() FORT ballFor the 4th year running James and the printsourceuk team attended the FORT Ball, held at the Guildhall, to celebrate the end of a great year for FORT and printsourceuk working together to raise funds and awareness of Cancer and those people whose lives are touched by it. The night was a great success raising more than ever before, and thanks must go to Montezuma's Chocolates for donating truffles for the goodie bags and the competition prize, and to Effin Clothing for also providing humorous t-shirt key rings for the goodie bags. A taste of the unusualYou may have noticed that this year we have been daring customers to test out our slogan to the full, as we have promoted more and more that we can print on anything. Whilst over 70% of our work is still based around leaflets, stationery and brochures, more of our existing customers are asking us to solve their print problems, that other printers can’t. Whilst producing standard items for clients, here are a list of other items they have asked us to do as well, that might surprise you: pillow case, USB keys, decorations, bus graphics, A boards, mugs, mousemats, CDs, display stands, banners, glasses, polo shirts, packaging, plastic cards, flags, balloons and much more |
3000th job
Only 11 months ago we announced our 2000th job awarding Stagecoach Buses with champagne in December 2006. Last month, Pet Doctors veterinary clinics placed the 3000th job to come through our doors, and Marketing Associate Karen was presented with the Champagne and chocolates to help celebrate the landmark stage in our growth, and now established relationship with the Pet Doctors Group. |
